Shadowside: Official band statement about the rescheduled show with Iron Maiden
Brazilian female-fronted Metal band Shadowside performed last night at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The band was supporting Iron Maiden, that was unfortunately forced to cancel the concert and reschedule it to tonight due to problems with the security barricade.
Despite serveral websites confirming that Shadowside will play again tonight, the promoter company Mondo Entretenimento, trying to solve all problems and organize the new concert, could not tell for sure if there would be technical conditions to keep the Brazilians on the event, thus deciding to keep only Maiden on the rescheduled show. Shadowside back from long tour with W.A.S.P. / announce new album recordings in Sweden
After touring all over Europe, Shadowside are back home! The band currently consisting of Dani Nolden (vocals), Raphael Mattos
(guitarist), Ricardo Piccoli (bass) and Fabio Buitvidas (drums)
performed a series of concerts as W.A.S.P.'s special guests in the Old
Continent. The band had a great time and would like to thanks all fans old and new for making all concerts so special!
On the occasion, the group also took the oportunity to present to the audience Gag Order, song that is going to be on their upcoming album. New material is going to be recorded in January 2011 at Fredman Studio

Shadowside proudly announce signing with SHP Records, making Dare to Dream available in North American territory. The brand new label is distributed by Universal Music and founded by industry veterans like president Fred Sherman, who commented: "Shadowside ROCKS. After entering the Metal charts on position 4 in their home country and extensively touring the USA, headlining Banja Luka Rock Open Air in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was watched by over 250.000 people live on TV and performing in Brazil, Spain and Romania, Brazilian Hard Rock/Metal band Shadowside are getting ready to bring the Wake Up Screaming Tour to Europe.

250.000 people watched the band's performance on TV in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Brazilian metallers Shadowside posted on MySpace a complete tourreport with details of the trip, the concerts and fun moments around their performances on Rockin' Transilvania, that took place in the Castle Bran, worldwide known as Dracula's Castle in Romania, and Banja Luka Rock Open Air, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, broadcasted live on TV RTRS (Radio Televizija Republike Srpske) to about 250.000 viewers. Dare to Dream, the band's most recent effort, was highly praised and a sales success in Brazil, reaching position number 4 in the Metal charts, and is now about to be released worldwide. Its scheduled to be out in May 28th, 2010 via S4/NL Distribution and includes the previously unreleased song "Everlasting Sun" as a bonus track.
